The doctors were nice and knowledgeable. However, on a consistent basis, we were unable to get in to see the doctor when sick. I have had numerous doctors over the years, and they have all been able to fit a sick patient in on the day that they called. Not this practice. As an example, our son had a serious skin infection and we took him to the ER. We were told to follow up with our primary doctor within the next day or two to ensure it was healing properly and did not worsen. We could not get an appointment and had to take him back to the ER two more times; we incurred an additional $200 in ER fees as a result. Luckily, we got reimbursed by my husband's company. On another occasion, my husband needed an inhaler and could not get an appointment. We complained to the receptionist and she was not apologetic in the least. I understand my husband got upset and yelled, but I called back, apologized, and expressed our concerns and she continued to argue with me. We switched providers that day. We called another doctor, and within a single phone call, they got him an appointment that day. Schwenksville had said they would check and call back; they never did; then said they would talk to the doctor but couldn't guarantee he could see him and would have to call back. At that point, with the recurring theme, we were pretty much done. Hands down the most unorganized and unsympathetic practice we have ever dealt with.

Dr. Alan Keiser is our doctor, my two daughters (13 and 4) and I. I'll admit sometimes the receptionist can seem "bothered" or "un -sympathetic" over a phone call, but in person they have been nothing but sweet and helpful. I have called numerous of times for same day appointments or even medications/refills and have never once been turned away and told I nor my daughters could NOT be seen. They always fit us in (receptionist) and tend to my needs as far as medications (Dr.'s and nurses). Before the Schwenksville office I was traveling to the Collegeville office and neither location has ever been unpleasant or NOT helpful. The nurses and doctors (i have seen them all) are always so pleasant and helpful even on weekends when the office is closed. We will be truly saddened by our move next year. Thank you for all you do!!!

Dr. Yang is by far my favorite doctor. I was recently taken off an anti anxiety medication but not weaned off. Cut off cold turkey. Worst experience of my life, later found out from my CDL medical certificate doctor that it could have very well killed me. He was speechless that it was done like that. Needless to say I'm am very leary of any of these doctors besides Dr. Yang. Be careful. Dr. Yang should be running that place before some gets very sick or worse.

I have to confirm what the other commenters have already stated. Although the doctors are decent, the support staff leave a lot to be desired. Trying to schedule an appointment is a hassle, but it shouldn't be. I have also have several medications that I've been taking for years, but I cannot get them renewed automatically without an appointment every 90 days. This sounds more like a scam to generate more office visits than it does a medically driven policy. I feel like they're holding my medications hostage, and thus playing games with my health, by insisting on excessive visits. I have friends on similar medications who only require annual or semi-annual checks, so why only 3 months here?

The receptionists and staff have been awful to communicate with. I had simple questions regarding referrals that they were unable to help answer. I experienced the same treatment as a previous review on here, paying unnecessary emergency room visit copays that could of been avoided if it were not for their negligence. The staff here has exhibited the worst attitude I have ever experienced in the health field. I've had my PCP switched and will never recommend this practice to anyone.
